Week 11: Slacking off just a little

  Quarter 1: January 1 - March 31 Complete 2 puzzles per month (6 puzzles total) Complete 30 Christmas cards for December Sort out and package up 3 Lego sets Continue on fitness and eating journey (lose 10 lbs) March 9: Chocolate mousse cake Cheez its Bourbon street chicken and shrimp with mashed potatoes Mozzarella sticks  Today was pretty lazy. I read quite a bit, played a board game with the boys, took a trip to a nearby town to have lunch with a friend and let the little one play in the park. We also looked at cat trees for our kitties while in town. After we got back to our town, we headed to another park to meet up with some friends so the kids could play and we could visit about a school related thing and then just chit chat. It’s always so nice to hang out with friends. We headed home after the park then I read more. See, lazy day. LOL!  I’m hoping tomorrow will bring a reason to leave the house with the warmer temperature so I can begin to focus on my health. It’...

Week 10: Rough week

It’s due in like 8 days and I should probably finish it before it’s due. So, this morning I curled up on the couch with my tea and Kindle. I managed to read about 30% of the book before the kids woke up. Both of them were up pretty late last night, so I got a lot of peace and quiet. It was wonderful.   The little one got up and completed his morning chore of feeding the cats. Boy, were they hungry by the time he fed them. LOL! She loves the franchise and had not yet seen the latest movie. She suffered through her cat allergy and watched the movie. Sadly, she wasn’t sure if she was emotional because of the movie or the allergies. LOL! As I had watched the movie during the extended school break, I knew I was going to cry. And boy did I cry! The scene with her dad and her breaks my heart every time I see it. Hell, I just have to think about it and I tear up. I miss my dad so much it’s ridiculous.
